If you feel like you’re going crazy, you’re doing it right, or so they say.

Well damn i must be aceing this whole mom thing.

Let’s be honest . Things WILL get overwhelming, frustrating, and emotionally challenging.

Just take a deep breath, and repeat these  mom-tras, montras, or whatever you feel like calling them.

•I GOT THIS:

It’s been a rough day for you or the kids or both. That’s ok. It happens.  Take a minute. Regroup. Start over if you must. Just remember you got this.

• I AM ENOUGH:

In today’s society everyone seems to think they are the perfect parent. They like to point fingers and put others down. Tell you that you’re  doing it wrong, because it’s not how they did it. To that I call bullsh*t. You know YOU. You know YOUR family. You trust your gut, because You Are Enough!

THIS IS TEMPORARY:

Or “This to shall pass”. Which ever you prefer. My daughter throws a tantrum in the store.  Maybe she is crying  over something I said no to. Either way it is temporary.  Yes it could be the 10th time today, but tomorrow is a new day.


• BREATHE .. JUST BREATHE:

This one really helps me. In through the nose, out through the mouth. One. Two. Three. Repeat! Also works wonders if you have a tough time going to sleep. Helps calm the mind and body.


• NO WORRIES:  

This is a personal favorite of mine and I use it often. Not just in tough times but in a general since as well. I don’t like to sweat the small things. Life is to short. Enjoy more worry less.


If all else fails you can always make yourself a glass of  wine, go hide in a closest, and eat a snickers. Your not yourself when you’re crazy.
